The world of web design is confusing enough for a beginner without all these abbreviation that are floating around. So here to help is a list of some of them and what they stand for:

CPC: Cost Per Click
CPM: Cost Per 1000 Impressions
CSS: Cascading Style Sheets
CTR: Click Through Rate/Ratio

DOM: Document Object Model
DTD: Document Type Definition
