Animated Favicon
I have been asked a few times how I created the animated favicon that I have on this site and if it was easy to do. So as it is quite a popular question I thought it would be worth a mention in this section.
I used Favicon.cc which has a built in animator. It is as simple as drawing or uploading your icon and then using their animator to create the frames of the animation, saving it and uploading it to your site. There is even a section of where you can view other peoples creations that have been published under an open licence and could be used on a site.
I could do a list of other generators but a simple google search for favicon generator brings up quiet a good list
